Solheim Cup players look glamorous at event’s DC gala

On Wednesday evening, the 2024 Solheim Cup players gathered at the Smithsonian American Art Museum in Washington, DC, for the event’s opening gala.

While the European team wore matching cream-colored outfits, the American team showed off their individual style in a range of dark dresses.

The 19th edition of the Solheim Cup will be held September 13-15 at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Gainesville, Virginia. The Americans have not won the competition since 2017, but lead the series overall with a 10-7-1 record.

Matches will begin Friday at 7:05 a.m. ET in foursomes format.
